The Nebraska men's golf team will have a distinct local feel when it tees it up next season.
Zack Erstad, from Lincoln East, on Tuesday became the Huskers' fourth in-state signee, joining Gavin Gerch (Lincoln Southeast), Jaxon Hinze (York) and Tommy Kelley (Creighton Prep).

Erstad was originally committed to North Alabama. He played a key role in helping Lincoln East to state championship titles the past two years, including a runner-up finish last season that helped the Spartans pull away in the team race.
Erstad, who graduated from East last month, has also had an accomplished amateur career, most notably winning the 2025 Nebraska Junior PGA Championship.
"We are thrilled to have the opportunity for Zack to be a Husker," Nebraska coach Judd Cornell said in a news release. "He's proven he belongs on this level and will make a huge impact on our program. I am really excited about him."
