Rhett transferred to Nebraska from Georgia before the 2025 season. In two years with the Bulldogs, he played in four games and recorded three tackles.
He appeared in eight games in his first season at NU, gradually contributing more deeper into the season. He had a then-career-high four tackles in the regular season finale against Iowa, then made his first career start in the Las Vegas Bowl. Against Utah, he logged six tackles.
Rhett, one of a handful of SEC transfers on the roster, has experience playing for one of the most successful teams of the past decade in Georgia. He was a three-star prospect out of high school.
