A wooden cross and flowers have been placed at a tree outside Natural Escapes Inc. at the corner of East Eighth and Maple Street in Cozad to honor the victims of the May 10 tragedy that shook the Cozad community. The business was owned by Jeremy and Bailey Koch. A nearby billboard also pays tribute to the Koch family, reading: “You will forever be in our hearts Jeremy, Bailey, Hudson, Asher.”
A celebration of life service for Bailey, Jeremy, Hudson and Asher Koch will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 22, at Parkview Baptist Church in Lexington with Pastor Keith Strasburger officiating.
The service will be live-streamed via the Parkview Baptist website at: parkviewfamily.com/media. For overflow, there will be additional seating available with the live stream at The Refuge in Lexington, 1105 Park St., and at the Cozad United Methodist Church, 1515 B St.
There will be a memorial book signing with family and friends on Wednesday, May 21, from 4-8 p.m. at Parkview Baptist Church in Lexington.
