An Overton man is being charged with first-degree sexual assault after a Sunday incident.
Policarpio Calmo Calmo, 29, was charged Wednesday in Dawson County Court with first-degree sexual assault, a Class 2A felony.
A warrant for Calmo Calmo's arrest was issued Tuesday after the victim was interviewed by law enforcement officials after the incident on Sunday.
Calmo Calmo was arrested Wednesday and booked into the Dawson County Detention Center. Bond is set at 10% of $200,000.
An initial hearing in the case is set for 11 a.m. Aug. 25. If a judge finds there is enough probable cause to continue with the case it will be advanced to District Court.
