Grand Island, Neb. — Local aquatic facilities are just weeks away from reopening as residents prepare for the 2026 summer season.
The Grand Island Parks & Recreation Department says City splash pads and wading pools will officially open Saturday, May 23, while Island Oasis Water Park and Lincoln Pool will open on Saturday, May 30. All facilities will then operate seven days a week throughout the summer season. The specific hours are listed below:
Daily admission to Island Oasis is $8.50 for youth ages 4-18 and adults ages 55 and older. Daily admission is $9.50 for adults ages 19-54. Children ages 3 and under are admitted free with a paying adult. A one-time family pass for two adults and up to four children is also available for $35.
Lincoln Pool admission and season passes
Daily admission to Lincoln Pool is $4 for youth ages 4-18 and adults ages 55 and older. Daily admission is $5 for adults ages 19-54. Children ages 3 and under are admitted free with a paying adult.
