An Omaha man said “adrenaline took over” in the moment when he tackled one of the suspects in the shooting at the Chiefs Super Bowl celebration in downtown Kansas City Wednesday.

Paul Contreras recalls Wednesday’s Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl parade at his home in Bellevue on Thursday. Contreras and his three daughters were attending the parade when they heard gunshots. Soon after, Contreras helped tackle a suspected shooter.
