The ongoing expansion and renovation of the link between Nebraska Hall and the Scott Engineering Center on the UNL campus will impact the area as students return. The $75 million project, part of which has already opened, adds 87,000 square feet of new research space and instructional laboratories, as well as office space for faculty.

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Architectural Hall, seen here in July 1987 following a $4.38 million renovation, is the university's oldest building. It originally housed UNL's library and art gallery and served as headquarters for the Nebraska State Historical Society.
