Two Oregon residents were arrested on Interstate 80 Friday, Dec. 12 after Nebraska state troopers found methamphetamine and firearms in a vehicle during a routine stop.
Michael J. Marsh, 56, of Eugene, Oregon, is charged with possession of methamphetamine, 28-139 grams, with a firearm, a Class 1B felony; possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, a Class 1B felony; possession of a firearm while committing a felony, a Class 2 felony; possession of money while committing a drug offense, a Class 4 felony; and possession or use of drug paraphernalia, an infraction.
Kristian M. Mooris, 45, of Eugene, Oregon, is charged with possession of methamphetamine, 28-139 grams, with a firearm, a Class 1B felony; use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony, a Class 2 felony; possession of money while committing a drug offense, a Class 4 felony; and possession or use of drug paraphernalia, an infraction.

Moore’s preliminary hearing in Dawson County Court is scheduled for 11 a.m. Jan. 7.
According to court documents, a trooper pulled over a red Ford sedan for speeding and failing to maintain lanes on I-80 Friday. Troopers were suspicious of drug use during the stop and received permission to search the vehicle.
During that search, troopers found 46 grams of methamphetamine, multiple ammunition boxes, multiple glass smoking pipes with methamphetamine residue, more than $6,000 in cash, a stolen firearm and other drug paraphernalia.
Both individuals were arrested and lodged in the Dawson County Jail.
