During a cross-examination on the 10th day of testimony in Joseph Bongiovanni’s corruption trial Thursday, a defense lawyer sought to pick apart testimony from a lifelong friend of the ex-federal agent, asking about inconsistencies, assumptions and gaps to cast doubt on his damaging claims over the previous two days.
