On Wednesday, July 5, the Lexington Welcome Center hosted a back-to-school event on the north side of the opportunity center. The parking lot was full and informational booths from local organizations and businesses were set up outside for guests to visit.
Randy Cardona and Eddy Ortega from Lexington’s soccer team help hand out school supplies at Lexington Welcome Center’s back-to-school event on July 5. Elementary students were given a plastic bag full of essentials such as crayons, markers and pencils while middle schoolers were given backpacks.
Conservation Nebraska had a booth at the back-to-school event, held north of the Lexington Opportunity Center. Kids were invited to spin a wheel and win prizes.
