Nebraska State Troopers are looking for a man who ran on foot from an Interstate 80 traffic stop at 9:05 a.m. Thursday.
In a social media post, the Nebraska State Patrol said a man ran south toward the Platte River near mile marker 243 between Overton and Lexington.
Troopers have since responded to the area and set up a perimeter to recontact the driver.
The driver is approximately 5'8", and was last seen wearing a tan Carhartt style jacket, grey sweatpants and tennis shoes.
He is not considered dangerous.
The agency also released a photo of the man, captured from patrol vehicle dash cam. If located, the release said, contact local law enforcement agency's non-emergency phone number.
