Flames can been seen from the side of a hill Monday east of Twin Lakes Road about five miles north of North Platte.
Most of the Betty’s Way Fire was contained Tuesday afternoon as crews continued to battle the more-than-70,000-acre fire in Lincoln and Custer counties.
