Senior Braelyn Malcom had eight kills, four solo blocks and two aces in the Haymakers’ win.
Cozad started the night with a Propp kill followed by a Malcom ace to give the Makers a 2-0 start.
There were 12 set ties, with the last coming at 18-18 off a back row kill by Malcom.
The Haymakers finished off the first set with a 6-1 run, reaching a second set point after their own serve error.
A Propp kill capped the set, giving Cozad a 1-0 start.
Hershey used a kill to lead 3-1 early in the second set. The Panthers maintained the lead through the entire set.
Cozad called a timeout after trailing 9-5.
Down the stretch, Cozad pulled behind 14-10 off a block by Ashlynn Propp.
Hershey reached 20 points first off their own kill, and finished off the set win with a 6-2 run. Back-to-back Panther aces awarded Hershey the 25-16 second set win.
Emersyn Propp collected nine kills through the first two sets, and had one ace.
There were 13 ties in the third set.
Cozad led 10-6 after an ace by Emalyn Geiger. Hershey followed with a 6-0 run, taking the lead 11-10.
They Haymakers took a 20-18 lead late in the set after a Propp sister block.
Back-to-back Hershey blocks followed by their own kill tied the set 21-21.
Emersyn Propp’s 14th kill on the night gave Cozad a 25-22 third set win.
A kill by Lexi Brown gave Cozad a 3-2 lead early in the third set.
After Hershey trailed 6-4, they used back-to-back kills to take their second lead of the set 7-6.
Three straight kills by Emersyn Propp gave Cozad a 13-10 lead.
Emersyn Propp had four aces in Cozad’s 6-0 run late in the fourth set, putting the Haymakers up 21-13.
Briley Fisher had a kill followed by an ace to put Cozad up 23-15, forcing a Hershey timeout.
Malcom had a solo block to give Cozad match point, and a Hershey error followed for a 25-15 Haymaker win.
Emersyn Propp collected six kills and four aces in the fourth set.

The Cozad Haymaker girls golf team brought home the team title Tuesday at the Minden nine-hole triangular.
Cozad finished with a team score of 197. Holdrege took second with a 207 and Minden ended with a 210.
Macy Jorgensen of Minden, was the individual champion.
COZAD
Ella Atchison led the lady Makers, taking second place with a score of 44.
Emma Howerter took third place with a score of 45.
Morgan Mraz finished with a score of 48 for fifth place.
Mollie Spradlin ended in 12th with a score of 60.
Baylee Eldridge came in 14th with a score of 63.
Katelynn Williamson competed in on junior varsity, ending with a score of 74.
HOLDREGE
Kaylin Sughrouse led the Dusters with a score of 45 for fourth.
Lily McClymont finished in sixth with a score of 49.
Ayna Mueller ended with a score of 56 for eighth.
Addie Westcott took ninth with a score of 57.
Hadli Bilka finished with a score of 58 for 10th.
MINDEN
Jorgensen was the champion with a score of 36.
Ceirra Riley ended in seventh with a score of 55.
Laynee Joyce took 11th with a score of 58.
Hallie Hartman finished with a score of 61 for 13th.

Overton, S-E-M cross country compete at Loup City

Overton and S-E-M cross country teams competed Tuesday at the Rebel Invite at the Loup City Golf Club.
Arcadia-Loup City boys won the team title and Amherst girls won the title.
The girls individual champion was Amherst's Broxlynn Fast with a personal best time of 20:44.
Arcadia-Loup City's Dutch Miller had a personal best time of 16:24 for the individual title.

Meagan Lassen finished with a time of 26:31 for 22nd.
Evangeline Treacle took 30th with a time of 27:51.
Lillian Palmer ended with a time of 28:33 for 34th.
Cadence Brooks finished in 46th with a time of 33:38.
