An Omaha woman was arrested Thursday in connection with a shooting that left another woman hospitalized in critical condition, the Omaha Police Department said.
Officers arrested Nadine Butler, 37, early Thursday in connection with a shooting near 30th and Blondo Streets, police said.
Omaha police responded to a reported shooting at 2021 N. 30th St. just before 5:30 p.m. Wednesday and found a 38-year-old woman suffering from critical gunshot injuries. Omaha Fire Department medics took the woman to Nebraska Medical Center.
Officers arrested Butler at 3:15 a.m. Thursday and booked her into Douglas County Jail on suspicion of first-degree assault, using a firearm to commit a felony, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and tampering with evidence.
