Democratic vice presidential nominee Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz has touted his Nebraska roots and values. In the Nebraska towns where Walz was raised, not everyone is ready to claim him.
Tim Walz’s sister, Sandy Dietrich, declined to comment on their distant cousins' opposition to her brother and referred to herself and her family as “Democrats for Tim.”
