LEXINGTON — A newly established organization, The Welcome Center, hosted a five-hour open house on Friday, April 4, inviting residents to explore its services and ask questions of staff.

The Welcome Center open house drew a crowd during the first three hours. Neighboring organizations in the Opportunity Center took advantage of the event. Among those who made appearances during the event were representatives from Lexington Public Library, Lexington Public Schools, Lexington Regional Health Center and Nebraska Appleseed from Lincoln.
