'Maus' is back on best seller lists after its ban from a Tennessee school district

Within weeks of a Tennessee school district moving to ban "Maus," a Pulitzer Prize-winning graphic novel depicting the horrors of the Holocaust, readers are propelling it to the top of best seller lists more than 30 years after it was first published.

The hardcover edition of "The Complete Maus," which includes parts one and two of Art Spiegelman's opus, is topping Amazon's list of best-selling books, holding the No. 1 and No. 2 slots at different times Monday morning. Parts one and two of "Maus" hold the third and ninth spots on the best sellers list respectively.

The next winter storm takes aim at the South, while the Northeast digs out of last week's blizzard

'Tis the season for winter storms to line up like parade floats at Mardi Gras. Last week's storm would have won the prize for a winter wonderland float and this week's storm would be topped with icicles.

The historic blizzard which slammed the Northeast and New England last weekend dumped more than 2 feet of snow in some locations. Boston tied its biggest snowfall ever on any single day on Saturday, after 23.6 inches fell.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau tests positive for Covid-19

Canada's Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, has tested positive for Covid-19, he announced Monday, as his nation continues to face a surge in cases due to the Omicron variant, as well as rowdy protests in the capital over pandemic health restrictions.

"This morning, I tested positive for COVID-19," tweeted Trudeau, who is fully vaccinated and boosted. "I'm feeling fine -- and I'll continue to work remotely this week while following public health guidelines. Everyone, please get vaccinated and get boosted."

Sony to acquire video game studio Bungie in $3.6 billion deal

Sony is acquiring Bungie, the video game studio that created hit franchises such as "Halo" and "Destiny," in a $3.6 billion deal that further centralizes the rapidly consolidating game industry.

In a blog post, Sony (SONY) said the acquisition would help take its PlayStation platform "beyond the console" and flesh out the company's efforts to develop live-service video games.
