won his first-ever state gold medal in the
800-meter dash with a PR time of 1:53.01
at the Class B championships.

Jax Rickertsen is a senior on the
Gothenburg Swedes track team. He won
his first-ever state gold medal in pole vault
after a personal best vault of 15-4 Thursday
at the Class B championships.
