Cozad boys cross country takes fourth at tough North Platte Invite
Cozad boys cross country team took fourth at the North Platte Invite at Oregon Trail Golf Course in Sutherland Thursday.
The lady Haymakers finished in sixth behind Ogallala.
North Platte girls were the team champions and Scottsbluff was the runners-up.
The North Platte High boys were the team champions and Scottsbluff boys took the runner-up title.

COZAD BOYS
Taegan Dexter had a personal best time of 18:14 for 11th place.
Jaxson Arndt took 13th with a personal best time of 18:21.
Gavin Guerra finished with a time of 19:17 for 29th.
Cayden Schwarz turned in a personal best of 19:38 for 36th followed closely by teammate Chase Smith in 37th with a time of 19:38.
Kenneth Hernandez Alvarado ended with a time of 19:46 for a personal best and 41st place.
Charles Baker ran a personal best of 20:25 for 54th and Hayden Revelo took 56th with a personal best of 20:27.
Elias Morries reached the finish line with a time of 21:02 for 63rd.
Freshmen Kaleb Revelo and Benjamin Hanna took 88th and 89th, respectively. Revelo crossed with a 23:30 and Hanna finished with a 23:35.
Dilan Orellana-Medina ended with a time of 23:35 for 90th.
Kollin Russell had a time of 24:31 for 94th.
Chandler Kaup finished in 96th with a time of 24:46.
Raiden Heuck took 101st with a time of 26:08 and Jairn Flores ended with a time of 26:53 for 106th.
COZAD GIRLS
Junior Audrey Baker tied her season best with a time of 22:36 for 18th.
Andrea Saravia Rios finished with a time of 28:55 for 53rd.
Reagan Chrisinger had a time of 29:42 for 55th.
Arleth Casillas crossed the finish line with a time of 29:52 for 57th.
COZAD MIDDLE SCHOOL
The lady Haymakers were the middle school team champions ahead of Sidney.
Cozad boys finished as the team runners-up behind North Platte.
Lenor Bennett led the lady Makers with her seventh place finish with a time of 13:30.
Gretchen Guerra followed closely with a time of 13:42 for eighth.
Sydney Rahn claimed 13th with a time of 14:14.
Ivy Russell crossed the finish in 18th with a time of 14:57 and Kaylee Hild ran a 15;36 for 24th.
Mila Fochtman ended with a time of 15:46 for 25th.
Grayden Guerra and Jax Yocom took second and third, respectively.
Jackson Broz finished in eighth with a time of 11:46.
Myles Heimann took 21st with a time of 12:34 and Max Bazata crossed the finish with a time of 12:48 for 25th.
Santiago Casillas had a time of 13:26 for 31st.
