LEXINGTON — The Lexington Minutemaid tennis team won their home dual 8-1 over the Gothenburg lady Swedes Tuesday afternoon.
Lexington won five of the six singles matches and won all four doubles matches.
SINGLES
Sydney Reutlinger-Maravilla defeated Zoe Beveridge 8-6 in the No. 1 match.
Atley Harris won the No. 2 match 8-1 over Peyton Hilbers.
Gothenburg's Lindly Anderson defeated Millie Pepplitsch 8-4 in the No. 3 match.
In the No. 4 match, Kennedy Cetak won 8-2 over Grace Evert.
Josslyn Mins won 8-1 in the No. 5 match over Aliyah Carlson.
Jovie Worthing defeated Shayne Kinnan 8-1 in the No. 6 match.
DOUBLES
Reutlinger-Maravilla and Cetak won the No. 1 match 8-0 over Anderson and Evert.
Mins and Pepplitsch defeated Kinnan and Carlson 8-2 in the No. 2 match.
Worthing and Harris won 8-2 in the No. 3 match over Bodey Tederman and Allison Shepherd.
Jasmin Aguirre and Penny Goodwin won 6-4 over Beveridge and Briony Aden in the No. 4 match.

Overton track athletes compete at Adams Central Invite

The Overton Eagles track and field teams competed Tuesday at the Adams Central Invite at Adams Central.
The lady Eagles finished in eighth as a team with 24 points and the boys took ninth with 23.
Overton hosts their home invite Thursday, April 9 at 10 a.m.
Brock McCarter cleared 6'2" in high jump for first, had a PR jump of 44'2" for third in triple jump and ran a 25.28 for 10th in the 200-meter dash.
Dawsen McCarter took third in pole vault with a heigh of 10'6", had a PR time of 23.81 for eighth in the 200-meter dash and a PR time of 12.07 for 11th in the 100-meter dash.
Jaisen Gonzalez took 20th in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.47 and 15th in long jump with a jump of 17'7".
Nevaeh Sauer had a jump of 34'11" for third in triple jump, a time of 27.69 for sixth in the 200-meter dash, finished in ninth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 13.71 and seventh in long jump with a mark of 15'3".
Kyla Elfgren took third in high jump after clearing 5', finished in third in the 800-meter dash with a time of 2:36.20, had a time of 6:11.90 for fourth in the 1,600-meter run
Daisy Ryan had a PR throw of 105'1" for sixth in discus and a PR throw of 23'8" for 23rd in shot put.
Chase Potter ended in 16th in discus with a PR throw of 111'.
Quinton Anderson took sixth in the 800-meter dash with a time of 2:15.83 and ninth in triple jump with a jump of 38'11".
Wyatt Kyle ended with a time of 2:23.64 for 14th in the 800-meter dash.
Anthony Arredondo had a throw of 94'9" for 25th.
Trystian Jarmin had a time of 3:12.28 for 25th in the 800-meter dash.
Halynn Hughes took 16th in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 1:00.51.
Piper McCarter had a PR time of 19.94 for 12th in the 100-meter hurdles and a PR jump of 30'5.5" for 13th in triple jump.
Braelyn Florell finished in 17th in long jump with a jump of 12'6.75" and ended in 19th in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 23.91.
Riley Brennan had a PR throw of 31'4" for 29th in shot put.
Trace Brooks took 35th in shot put with a throw of 26'8".
