MONDAY
Cozad lost to Bridgeport 66-40 in the Class C1-10 subdistrict Monday in Ogallala.
The lady Haymakers were led by Braelyn Malcom with 10 points. Emersyn Propp and Makenna Broz chipped in seven points each and Emalyn Geiger had six points off of two 3s.
Cozad girls ended their season with a 3-19 record.
Hi-Line's season came to an end after losing 60-37 Monday against Southern Valley in the Class D1-11 subdistrict in Maywood.
Whitney Wall and Olivia Wall had 12 points each and Bentley Stubbs and Kara Brockman finished with six each.
The lady Bulls finished their season with a 2-19 record.
TUESDAY
The Gothenburg lady Swedes continue their postseason run after defeating Bridgeport 58-29 in the Class C1-10 subdistrict Tuesday in Ogallala.
Overton girls flew away with the Class D1-10 subdistrict win 61-24 over South Loup Tuesday in Overton.
Gracen Hughes led with a game-high of 21 points. Halynn Hughes chipped in 13 and Daisy Ryan helped with 10.
The S-E-M lady Mustangs dominated Twin Loup 60-27 in the Class D2-8 subdistrict matchup Tuesday in Sumner.
Senior Taryn Arbuthnot had a game-high 25 points. Mia Scoville and Avery Harder chipped in 10 points each.
UPCOMING MATCHUP
No. 4 Lexington will host No. 5 Nebraska City in the girls district B-2 quarterfinal match at 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 23.
The winner of that game will move on to face undefeated No. 1 seed Bennington at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25 in Bennington.
