Diane Yeutter: Become a vessel of light for God
Jessica Kennedy
God is everywhere.
He wants us to recognize his presence so we can join him in what he’s prepared for us to do.
Diane Yeutter
Jesus always does what His Father asks. In fact, Jesus does nothing by himself; he only does what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son does as well. John 5:19
While living on earth, Jesus kept his eye on God, watching to see what the Father was doing, then immediately adjusted His life to join in what His Father planned.
God accomplishes His purposes through His Son.
Are you watching to see what God is doing around you?
When you adjust and do what He asks, the Father accomplishes His purpose through you. A Christian teacher explained:
1. See what the God is doing.
2. Adjust your life, plans, and goals to Him.
3. Place your life at His disposal (where He is working).
4. He will accomplish His purposes through you.
As you spend time with God, he’ll reveal purpose from his perspective.
If you want what’s best for you and other people, ask him to show you what he’s doing. He will lead you to a scripture to help understand.
Believe in what he tells you then do it. Surrender your heart, mind, soul, and strength so He can work through you to accomplish down to the last detail what he’s planned.
Joining God in his work does not only involve helping other people, but sometimes God’s work also involves helping you.
God is around you, near you, and living inside you, desiring for you to partner with him so He can live his life through you.
When you do what your Father asks you will become a vessel of light.
