David Richardson

Dave Richardson, 57, of Lexington died Sunday June 10, 2018, at his home.

Funeral services will be Thursday, June 14, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lexington, with Pastor Rob Kuefner officiating. Burial will be at Robb Cemetery, Lexington, Nebraska.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 13, from 5-7 p.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home.

Dave was born March 31, 1961, in Lexington, to William and Doris (Schnakenberg) Richardson. He attended elementary school at District 22, before the family moved to town. He graduated from Lexington High School in 1980.

As a youth, Dave participated in 4-H, baseball, fishing and swimming. Throughout his life, he loved music and working on cars. Dave worked as a cook at Andy’s Supper Club, A & W, and The Den. He was best known for his Lawn and Tree Service and cutting firewood in the winter.

Dave will be remembered for his big smile, hearty laugh and generous personality.

Survivors include two brothers, Calvin (Cheryl) Richardson of Lexington and Kevin (Joyce) Richardson of Broken Bow; one sister, Bea (Ron) King of Lexington; nieces and nephews:,Tucker King, Lincoln, Thad (Jennifer) King, Kearney, Melissa (Sam) BeDunnah, Lexington, Ana Zavodsky, Omaha, Mathew Richardson, Lincoln, Nathan Richardson, Lincoln, Mishayla (Tim) Freburg, Gothenburg; three uncles, Norman (Phyllis ) Richardson of Elm Creek and John (Elaine) Richardson of Midwest City, Okla., Allen (Peggy) Schnakenberg of Eastvale, Calif.; and several great nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church or Robb Cemetery.
