LHS alumni  happenings begin June 15

The 127th Annual Lexington High School Alumni Banquet will take place at 6 p.m. June 16 at Lexington High School. Tickets are $25 each and may be purchased at U-Save Pharmacy. Classes ending in “8” will be honored but everyone is welcome to attend.

The honor classes have activities planned on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

On Friday afternoon at 4 p.m. the Majestic Theater will be showing a documentary about the 1957 championship football team. All are welcome.

On Saturday morning at 10 a.m. the Lexington Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a parade, “Welcome Back, Orange and Black!” Anyone wanting to be in the parade should contact the chamber office at 308-324-5504.

After the parade the public is invited to tour the Majestic Theater until 12 p.m. Lexington Middle School will be open for touring from 1-2 p.m. and Lexington High School will be open for touring from 2-4 p.m. (use door No. 1 on the west side).

On Sunday the class of 1998 is viewing a movie produced by their classmate, Chuck Fairbanks, son of Dave and Carolyn Fairbanks. Everyone is invited.
